Luka Modric crowned the 2018 Golden Ball award - Video


Real Madrid and Croatia's Luka Modric have been awarded the 2018 Golden Ball award by France Football magazine for the world's best player.
The 33-year-old former midfielder, Ronaldinho, and Barcelona's Lionel Messi have been on the golden ball for the past 10 years, having won five of them since 2008.
Messi and Ronaldo missed the ceremony at the Grand Palais in Paris.
Modric, the world's four-time international


champion of 2018, was named after the best player of the European Union (FIFA) and the FIFA World Player of the Year in 2018. He led the team to the final for the first time in his history, 2-4).
